David Marks

Dominion Energy, Appalachian Supply Coordinator

Having spent over 40 years in energy, David Marks' background includes contract origination and negotiation, pipeline logistics, term marketing and day trading, project management, teaching, and business development. David's current position at Dominion Energy is Appalachian Supply Coordinator. He actively manages a portfolio of 240 Appalachian producers by buying their production and moving supplies to the most liquid markets in the Basin.  Furthermore, David manages business development concerning the siting of Modular Gas-to-Liquids plants which will convert Appalachian production into specialty chemicals and create a pure hydrogen offtake stream for fuel cell applications and oil refining. In 1992 David became one of the first employed at Consolidated Natural Gas in the new deregulated environment that opened access to the national pipeline grid. He also served on the Gas Industry Standards Board; the precursor organization that evolved into the North American Energy Standards Board. This organization developed the standardized agreement for bilateral energy transactions.
